Cooking with U.S. students
We, GAIGO students, cooked NIKUJYAGA, ONIGIRI and TAMAGOYAKI
with high school students from Santa Rosa and members of
the Soroptimist Kagoshima which is women’s volunteer association.
The number of Americans were 16, including their instructor.
They didn’t cook TAMAGOYAKI very well, of course me either.
However, NIKUJYAGA was good because it was made of KUROGE-WAGYU.
They looked pleased. After the cooking, we did some
KAGOSHIMA dialect quizzes which we did something with gesture
and saying in KAGOSHIMA dialect, and then spectators answered
in three options including funny things. It warmed up.
We had a good time.
